This weekend was productive when you look at the pace progress relative to my previous rounds. Unfortunately, we still weren’t up to speed with the guys at the front enough to battle for better positions, however, the reverse grid gave us the opportunity to prove I can hold my own on a big grid with so much experience and skill.

I started race one from P12 after exceeding track limits and lost a place off the start which made this session very difficult. However, I got my head down and made my place back once the car came on within the last three laps. The wrong call was made on a setup change which ultimately meant we couldn’t capitalise on Saturday’s conditions and we only finished where we started after a tough haul around Donington.

Race two was a touch better, finishing with P11 after a great start. We came away from this one a little frustrated as we were on race pace, however, we didn’t give it the push it needed to hang onto the pack.
The reverse grid in race three put me off P2, and when the car on pole stalled I jumped into P1 before Logan took the lead. I was in a really good rhythm following Logan before I moved back into 4th and was run wide off track. Following a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits, I completed race three with P11.
Well done again to Logan Hannah for a fantastic drive and bringing the team their first win in GB4! Thank you to Graham Brunton Racing and to the guys behind me; Laser Tools Racing, John Clark, Workflo Solutions, Bonthrone Security Services, and Charlie Reid.
