Chloe Grant has been confirmed as the second driver to complete Graham Brunton Racing’s all-female lineup, with prominent support from Laser Tools Racing.

The 15 year old enjoyed a successful career in kart racing, where she won 4 championships before winning the Junior Saloon Car Scholarship in 2021. This opportunity opened the door to car racing for Chloe where she has spent a year honing her race craft and learning the top circuits in the UK, following a calendar of 9 events.

Signing with Graham Brunton Racing completes their all-female lineup alongside Logan Hannah, also backed by Laser Tools Racing. GB4 marks a great step up for both girls, with Logan having competed in national Formula Ford rounds in 2021.

Chloe is a member of the prestigious British Women Racing Drivers’ Club (BWRDC) in which she collected 1st place in the Saloon Trophy and 3rd in the club overall for last season.

Chloe commented: “My ambition has always been to step up from the karting circuit into single-seater racing, and now I’m taking on the new GB4 series with Laser Tools Racing — what an opportunity!

“GB4 is a very exciting new championship that will see aspiring drivers progress in single-seater racing and with Laser Tools Racing’s support, I’m really proud to be involved in this new series. And to be partnered with Logan Hannah, well that’s got the be the dream team!”

Chairman of Laser Tools, Martin Smith, said, “We are delighted to sign up Chloe Grant and feel that paired with Logan Hannah’s ability and experience we can continue with Laser’s ethos of spotting young talent and then developing that talent on the race track. We’re confident that we’ve assembled another winning team.”

The strong Scottish duo sits within Graham Brunton Racing, a family-run team based at the heart of Scottish motorsport, Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Team Manager, Craig Brunton commented:

“It’s great to have Chloe joining us. We’ve seen her progress from karts to cars and she comes from a real racing family with a huge passion for the sport.

“This will be a big learning curve – moving to slicks and wings in the Tatuus chassis. But her approach to learning new skills has really impressed us. Working with a two-girl team in the Laser Tools Racing branded cars is an amazing opportunity and we can’t wait to hit the track and begin the hard work!”

Chloe’s support doesn’t end there, as John Clark Motor Group comes on board for her monumental 2022 season

The GB4 Championship, partnered with the BRDC, will kick-off at Snetterton on the 2nd/3rd of April ahead of joining the British GT and GB3 package. The series will visit all of the UK’s premier circuits, including Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Donington Park, and Oulton Park.
