After a big shunt during Friday practice, I went straight into qualifying in a new car on Saturday. This was a tough hurdle as I’ve become comfortable in the same car all season and pinned down our set-up when testing here last month.
After qualifying back in 17th, I managed to finish P13, P16, and P12 throughout the day. Overall, the weekend was disappointing as the work we had done to prepare for our first visit here went to waste, and we have a sad, broken race car to get fixed for Donington Park next week!
Big thanks to the marshals and medical team for getting me out the car safely – all good!
Well done to the JSCC grid for another weekend of close, clean racing! Thank you again to the Junior Saloon Car Championship and team Orex.
